Andrew Wilson to Retire as B&M Bulletin Editor

Andrew Wilson

At the July Board of Directors meeting, Andrew Wilson, longtime editor of the B&M Bulletin, announced that he will be retiring from the role after 26 years. Wilson will serve in the role for one more issue of the Bulletin (Volume XXXV No. 2) and will subsequently step down. He will stay on as the Society’s Clerk and will continue to aid the B&MRRHS with his volunteer service. The Board of Directors are currently seeking potential candidates for Wilson’s replacement, and may put a call out to the membership if needed.

The B&MRRHS Board of Directors would like to sincerely thank Andrew Wilson for his long service in this important and involved role. The B&M Bulletin is our flagship publication and features articles covering the history of the Boston & Maine Railroad including its personnel, equipment, operations, legacy, and more. Published several times a year, the Bulletin is also a major perk of membership and a public representation of the Society’s activities. Wilson’s work as editor included writing articles and features, laying out and organizing the issues, overseeing printing and distribution, communicating and coordinating with authors, and much, much more. The B&MRRHS is truly indebted to him for 26 years of fantastic work!
